On September 22nd, 2019, Churakids worked with Okinawa Beach Cleanup to hold the very first event of our brand new Beach Cleanup Club! This club has been created with the intention to keep our community here in Okinawa clean, while also showing our students that they can help make a difference in our environment!
In October, Churakids hosted its very first Cooking Club at the Nago location! With the help of Chef Hiro and our Churakids teachers, the students and their parents who attended this Cooking Club learned how to make a delicious Pumpkin Mille Crepe Cake! Since this event was inspired by Halloween, everyone was invited to dress up in costume for a little extra fun. Even our finished cakes would “dress up” as Jack o’lanterns!
